The elements of each J. LESLIE DESIGN piece are selected for the highest quality, color, and durability of the piece. The findings are chosen with ease and wearability in mind. Many of our styles combine the following components and we are always on the lookout for special vintage and antique details to add to one of a kind pieces!

Freshwater Pearls – Freshwater pearls are farmed using Freshwater Mussels. They are noted for their wide range of natural color and are often enhanced to produce the wide range of colors available.

Precious & Semi-Precious Gemstones – There are more than 130 types of gems that have been classified under these categories and all are considered gemstones. We hand select all gemstones personally to get the best possible quality and color for the price.

SWAROVSKI® Crystal - SWAROVSKI® is the premium manufacturer of precision-cut lead crystal components produced in Switzerland. SWAROVSKI® crystal contains approx. 32% lead oxide and what sets them apart is their flawless precision cutting and polishing.

Mother of Pearl – Mother of Pearl is the hard iridescent substance thst forms the inner layer of mollusk shells.

Sterling Silver is an alloy of silver and other metals with 92.5% being pure silver. We also use where possible modern forms of non-tarnishing silver such as ARGENTIUM Sterling Silver.

Gold Filled is by law 1/20 by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It has far more gold than the few microns coating of gold plate. 14K Gold Filled jewelry will not peel or flake and can be treasured as heirloom pieces.
